The Gourmet Cheese of the Month Club was created in response to feedback from many of our wine and beer club members who told us we should be offering boutique cheeses from around the world to go with our wines and beers. After more than a year of research, we partnered with the most exceptional and knowledgeable resource for gourmet cheese: Zingermans Deli. In fact, Zagat rated them the #1 deli in the USA.

We will offer you only handmade gourmet cheeses that are produced in very limited quantities, and have no doubt been tasted by William the Conqueror, Catherine the Great, Voltaire, Michelangelo, and the like. Each reasonably priced shipment will include enlightening and noteworthy newsletters. You have our commitment that we will deliver the highest quality products, and can-do service just as we have with our five other clubs.

"When you asked me to put my words on paper for your web site, my first reaction was, "Great cheese!! Well packaged, fresh and tasty!"... But then I was reminded that I have a flair for description and decided to have some fun with it so here goes...

"Imagine my delight upon receiving a parcel containing my month's installment of cheese from one of the best delis in the world -- Zingerman’s !! The three selections came carefully wrapped and packed with ice. A beautifully written newsletter explained the heritage of each of the cheeses, and I savored the mouthwatering aroma emanating from each package as I learned about the savory adventure on which I was about to embark. There was a Blue, a Swiss and a Camembert -- each a fine example of the world's best cheesemaking, and each distinctly different in character and flavor. I carefully prepared a plate of peara, crackers and French bread to complement the dairy triumvirate. I sipped my Cabernet and escaped in the buttery texture of the Swiss. I savored the sweetness of the pear coupled with the sharp stillness of the Blue. I was mesmerized by the creamy sweetness of the Camembert. For a moment, I was surely closer to Heaven."

So when I called in to extend her gift now that she's been promoted, and Lisa (she's so nice!) told me that you were looking for testimonials, I asked her for some feedback that could be quoted.
